An Ocean of dreams where hearts entwine...

My darling Melodrama... 

Your blue green eyes as sweet as 

Iris in Spring-time rhapsodies 

take my breath away in  fields 

of Heather where lovers lay... 

Come into the Chapel of my arms 

where prayers are whispered upon 

a cloud of secret promises... 

My heart is freely given.

Your poem reminds me of the "good ole days" when people often had outdoor ceremonies for all kinds of blissful or faithful reasons, with all of nature & imagination in attendance. "Whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name, there is LOVE" (The Wedding Song, which I sang a hundred times at such get-togethers, back then). I kinda miss having that wildly optimistic outlook, where everything warm & fuzzy was something to be honored & celebrated . . . nowadays, not so much enthusiasm with too many pockets of hopelessness. Your poem brings it all back like it once was, but some young whippersnapper chided me for looking back too often in my writing -- ha! ha! They're just jealous their youth won't be something as sacred to look back upon, I sadly surmise! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

and speak to it as lovely, and giving your heart to it.
so mystical..and romantic.
