Love Neil Diamond Pat. Love Neville's poetry and I can see already that Neville is delighted with these lines you have penned for him. I know he is a great observer and admirer of our feathered friends as you are too. A special delight to read this poem, written by a favourite poet for another favourite poet.

I hope Neville has not been affected by the fires in Australia. It is so sad that homes have been lost, and also the wild life lost... Our world is beautiful in so many ways, but tragedy will happen. Thank you for the care and comfort you provide with your reviews and poetry.

He lives in the west country. However having said that, all of us with a heart are upset by the loss of life to the animal kingdom and our feathered friends. It is a huge tragedy. Of course, we think of human loss first. It is unbelievable the loss of lives and homes when tragedy occurs in so many countries and Islands.
I trust you are safe where you live when there are storms. None of us know when a Tornado or the like might change our life. With prayers, Pat
I am sure Neville had a huge smile on his face when he read this one, Pat. Song sung blue....one of the best Neil Diamond songs. When days are dark, fires ruin the landscape and take the lives of beautiful creatures, things seem bleak. Still there is love....always love. Always enjoy your poetry, Pat. Lydi**
He is but a good and wonderful friend to me, He knows how I appreciate him and his kindness. dear Patricia, these lovely and gentle words penned like a Song Sung Blue, how beautiful is it to share Love with our friends here, specially in these days. You leave us with a touch of sweet empathy, Thank You ✨ 💗✨ I know Neville would be flying like a bird after receiving this wondrous gift 🌟

When Neville reviewed one of my poems recently, he mentioned that he felt like a Kookaburra Bird... so I googled the bird and copied an Image that I placed at the top of my poem. It is amazing how many beautiful birds with colored feathers there are around the world. We live in the USA in the State of Virginia 60 miles from the U.S. Capitol where our History is kept and made... close to the White House where the President presides. We have mostly Cardinals and Blue Jays, as well as Blue Birds... but no Kookaburra Birds. We do have Hummingbirds and
black and white Chickadees, and many other birds that I write about. Google Images had this photo I used as being in Australia, and of course Neville mentioned the Kookaburra Bird to me previously, himself. Best wishes and be safe. tenderly, Pat
