Margie... have you seen the Movie Days of Heaven ?? It is about Sting’s Song, Fields of Barley.. fields of Gold. So Cool that Barley girl is your Pen name after “Fields of Barley from the Song by “Sting” the Musician. His voice is to die upon. I just listened to the entire Song by him. He would love to read my poem... I am certain as the Sun will Rise. Truly, Pat

dear Margie (and Jacob) I have not seen the movie, but just happened to come across the fact when I googled further info on Sting's song. I imagine I will see it eventually, Yes, Richard Gere is in the Movie.
So much to see and do... and so little time... but we will make time. truly, Pat

DVD is arriving tomorrow . . . 2007 flick, not an early one for Gere, I would say . . . I'll letcha know if it was worth the exorbitant price (twice what I would usually pay, but the price went down $3 overnight in my shopping cart, so I took that as a sign! *wink! wink!*)

Actually, the Days of Heaven movie I am referring to was from 1978 and starred Richard Gere and Brooke Adams...
the 2007 movie must be something different.

I just looked on line...in 2007 that movie was selected for Historic Preservation....but it is from 1978....

dearest Lydi... I actually have Butterflies on strands of colored hair that I clip in my auburn hair in colors of turquoise or lavender or mint green.. depending on my mood. I am beginning to see a little rub off on me... in The Taming of the Shrew... It speaks of the Sting...
