I find that reading poetry on WC enriches my life by
sharing our words and ideas that may help another person on path that may be difficult at times. I often find a poet doing the same for me. I love to share thoughts that ripple like the Ocean or stormy sea. There is a song, "Someone far from Harbor, you may guide across the Shore". Wishing you a lovely Valentine with wings to fly like a bird to a tropical Isle where there are smiles and coconuts galore. truly,Pat

That my dear, is a very warm combination of music and extraordinary seductive phrasing! You've hidden it in the heart of the sweet and gentle, the rise and fall of tidal sweetness. Lovely!

I had forgotten about February being Valentine's month becuz I'm not much of a romantic, except where nature is concerned! I love this poem becuz it quenches my thirst for romance, the way I've come to crave it, not so much as a focused human expectation (why didn't he send me flowers?) as much as being romanced by all different kinds of people we interact with along the way, as well as the birds, bees, critters, trees, rocks, streams, crawdads, & clouds. Damn, I'm going to be walking around all day with my head in the clouds again! *wink! wink!* Fondly, Margie
Forgot to mention, killer line:
syncopated symphonies of persuasion

There is a movie with Cary Cooper called Friendly Persuasion. His wife is a Quaker minister. Of course the Quakers meet in a Meeting House and call themselves Friends. The Movie is priceless. I hope you can see it some day. Lots of war humor. I love to use the romantic word "Persuasion". That's what it's all about. dearly, Pat
