![]() Chickadees and SnowA Poem by Patricia Wedel![]() they travel far and discover snow and stars![]() The last Rose of Summer sleeps with falling leaves where scent lingers amongst the acorns scattered about... Birds dressed in colors of red and grey where storm clouds play Chickadees dressed in black and white find seeds and kindness where squirrels prance about grabbing peanuts left for mischievous minds where the Art of cracking shells is a gift to fluffy tails and piercing eyes of watching prey. Snow falls lightly as Winter lullabies cry for warmth of love when sleigh bells on chestnut horses jingle on their way to the Manger along with the Wise Men who travel afar with Frankincense and Myrrh and Gold ... guided by a Star over the Manger in a Stable with a Savior born of Mary and Joseph who found no place in the Inn... settled for the warmth of Cattle and Lambs where Angels guarded the new born child. Amen... © 2019 Patricia WedelFeatured Review
