Pat, aside from the brilliant imagery, I read a kind woman giving her time, maybe herself, to the scarecrow (lacking courage), if only to give him enough courage to dance. Interesting diversion on the Tin Man (looking for romance). Perhaps butterflies and autumn skies will usher a new season for the scarecrow and Tin Man. I enjoyed this one. A creative work in words and art.

Your words carry us all over the most dreamish landscapes of autumn and Oz. Beautiful, tender, and misted, each line carries a story of its own. So marvelous.

the atmosphere you have created here is all so familiarly from the past that it is like coming back home to all those early days of imagination
Very nice

' We danced around the Autumn leaves where Acorns were
falling around our heads and scattered along the Yellow Brick Road. '
Few writers in the cafe could capture the sweet make-believe of The Wizard of Oz and this glorious time of year! Truly do have a lump in my throat, read your words three times.. could keep reading day-long, Pat! There are places and occasions that can only 'dwell' in a special part of our hearts and i think you've created just that. Such a truly clever and tender imagination you have, dear luv.

I loved the image of dancing with the scarecrow. It seems to me he would give the best hugs, and like Dorothy, I would miss him the most. Memories are plentiful here, gathering at my feet like autumn's leaves. Oh, and my most favorite of all - the pumpkin pies! You engage the imagination, Pat...what a feeling you exude!

Yes, pumpkin pies with the scent of nutmeg and cinnamon are appearing at our table and love is expressed with
the music of butterfly wings. Blessings and love, Pat

I particularly love the last two lines, "Butterflies in autumn skies land on Chrysanthemums and orange red Pumpkins ready for pies." Such a perfect description for this time of year, and I love pumpkin pie. 💕💕💕💕💕

We bring to life even inanimate objects and make them a celebration of October. Time for pies and lovely costumes. I like your references to that wonderful movie too. Happy October.
