Even if not around any bird watchers, I'd wager that EVERYONE (among our generation) grew up with a fondness for robins, with the iconic red-breasted males & robin's eggs used endlessly to identify the ultimate shade of light blue with a hint of turquoise. You've packed this poem with memories, including the "bob, bob, bobbin along" song that must've been a sixth-grade camp classic. The way you load up on poignant imagery, your nest is full & overflowing! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I would cry when I had a "crush" on a cute guy who was not on the same page... but music always soothed the trauma of lost love that never was.

tiny beeks to steal our hearts..."

Your poetry has the newness of life and nature. Your observation and imagination combine to spread lively connections and cheers everywhere. I guess your message is about losing something to gain something else, a maturation of the process of life. Marvelous...

experience a world of foraging and discovering how
to survive. We learn from others, to be kind and lend a helping hand. Thanks for placing a glow on a few of my lines. We see half grown fledglings still learning from their parents how to approach a
full railing around our Deck ... where seeds of every kind present a smorgasbord of nutritious treats .
In return they sing their songs and surely must have a
place to retire when night draws a curtain until Angels open the skies to morning light. Thank you, Sami, for stopping by. truly, Pat
You are an observer of nature and the circle of life. The scenes you describe are innocent and sweet and the ones we should all pay more attention to in our crazy world. Just wonderful, Pat. Lydi**
