Rosebud resting on lost momentsA Poem by Patricia WedelLoving to be near the Earth where shadows dance...In the early morning dew when daylight peeks around a rosebud and birds begin to chirp and fluff their feather pillows... I curl up in my window seat and watch the willows as they sway and yawn upon the prospect of a new day... My friend the Palm Warbler appears upon a branch wearing a Chestnut Cap on the very top of its head... bopping its tail up and down like a trapeze artist prepared to fly through the air with an attitude... The buzzing bees are on a mission of sweet revenge while the Queen Bee is fulfilling a honeycomb order... The squirrels are gathering acorns for winter as leaves are turning their colors persimmon and gold... We kneel to welcome the season of autumn atonement © 2019 Patricia WedelFeatured Review
