Trying your Wings

Trying your Wings

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

Clouds of Angel Arms

"
On a beautiful September day you flew away

from the water in a boat up to the sky...

The Glory Hallelujah was heard for miles

as Angels held you on arms of celestial smiles...

Every flower that grows will be blessed with tears

You will always be our lovely string of pearls...

When snowflakes fall and bluebirds call

we will remember spring summer winter and fall

through all the years of loving a son who was

destined to be a Keeper of Hearts...

Dedicated to our dear friend Violet who lost her son...

Well firstly I am sorry for all of your loss, but with such beautiful words in his memory, he must have had a very special place in your lives and in your hearts.
Nothing quite encompasses the ache of such a loss, but im sure your words have and will bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
Beautiful.

Such condolences are offered with sparkling hopes of the Spirit and in the company of angels. To wipe the tears of sadness is to lift up the burden of separation and behold the beauty of the next life. You move us with every tribute.

This is a precious tribute for your grieving friend. I love this line: "The Glory Hallelujah was heard for miles" -- such an embrace of the inevitable! You have a way of weaving imagery based on nature, but it can symbolize a variety of human situations. Altho this was written on the occasion of death, I can also see this as a farewell to the child going off to do an independent journey of any kind. Your friend is lucky to have you gifting her with the perfect balance between sad & celebratory (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
