This poem oozes with a drowsy sense of beauty; one can almost find themselves drifting in this scenery, in a carefree wandering, taking in the sights and sounds of the beauty all around while quietly musing on the love's of the past. Your poems are always filled with the wonders of nature; things we seem to take for granted so much in this hectic modern age. And this is another poetic gem of which Gaia herself would be fond of.
Wonderfully delicate poetry, Pat.

Always welcome, Pat. I look forward to reading that next poem.
When you can poetically/adroitly slip in the Bard and "get away with it," then you've created a poem for the reader that rings true down through the poetic ages. Your languid pacing had me wanting to take a nap and bring it all with me as I dozed. I would stay

Again, a very spring feel to your words. Perhaps the recent good weather has been as nice a surprise to you as it has been to me, although we have a storm right now :(
I can definitely feel the breeze washing over your words as the aromatherapy of spring adds another dimension to your words.

Love this little poem about nature and the red fox. You paint such beautiful imagery with your words. Could imagine myself in those meadows filled with wild flowers. Our foxes are quite bold, I woke to hear one almost barking in the early morning a couple of weeks ago. Walking bold as brass down our road. We are right on the edge of countryside, so he had strayed a little way. Lovely combination of stars, sea, meadows and flowers to keep your readers happy. Thank you Patricia.

Your words are going to be my Linus blanket for today... Every line holds something i truly love and need. Would share it all with those who genuinely care about our world and its glories. But, but for those who rush past like crafty foxes deflowering anythuing in their path... well, there are a few two-legged ones who just have to 'tread on the grass'! Your words truly are so lovely.. always.

This poem has all the imagery that delights me! You’ve taken so many of my familiar favorites & woven them together into a whole new experience. I love how this could be from a fox’s point of view, whether 2-legged or 4-legged. I love how you join seaside imagery with flowers & the universe. There are too many details for me to mention, but I love them all. This is so similar to the enraptured way I feel when I think about the ocean that’s just over the mountain from where I live. Thanks for read-requesting me & feel free to do that anytime, becuz I don’t want to miss your new postings (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Crazy like a fox in love if you ask me....hoping his "prey" will stay through his romantic dream. Claire de lune is such a sweet melody....I could hear it in my mind as I read your words. As always, the imagery is so pretty...your lines so lilting, gentle, soft. Beautiful, Pat. Lydi**
