lovers and strangers flying together in an azure sky...there is glory in a garden of differences...we all have wings to fly if we do it with kindness...the sky will never be too crowded.
i like your one line, made me see all those birds and then Lucy with Diamonds looking up and admiring them all, wishing she could fly.

I loved your writing, the poetry and color of birds, of life, of the world bursting in joy. How I love my gardens, and your thoughts carry me there into their warmth. Everything in the world comes alive in those gardens, and they do so become a place of pure love.

You are welcome dear Pat and you have some fun and be safe.
What lovely thoughts you've expressed here. I've compared the birds to a choir on Sunday morning singing to the glory of God. I have the poem somewhere, entitled Lessons from the Choir Loft. This is quite different but I believe every prayer to be poetry if it is sincere and what could possibly be more sincere than the song of birds? I greatly enjoyed the read. Bless.

So creative! I love the opening personification of birds, wing-dipping (so clever!), and your celebration of sensory delights expands as your poem goes on a journey full of well-crafted words & vivid imagination. Some people do not like the “quiet” of solitude, as with my surrounding wilderness here. But I find this to be a hub of activity to tickle all the senses, just as you’ve shown us here! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Pat you have the magic of fantasy flowing in your pen and reflected in this poem.... I have two bird feeders hung in the tree in the back yard where I am staying and it is so much fun just to sit and watch the birds come, feed, squabble, and then fly off... it is like a dance in the morning with each step part of the larger flow of nature's adventure, it just takes time to hear/feel the song playing....

This is a lovely word picture of an imaginary ideal moment. It is something one might read to be temporarily lifted out of the ugliness we so often see in the media. Very nice.
