It's only Make Believe

Chasing butterflies with aurora

Running through the autumn trees 

on my favourite steed... 

with my pixie friend astride...

we wander along the wooded trail  

Our hearts skip beats as 

moments fleet toward the 

meadow sweet with mowed hay  

for cattle and horses mainstay... 

Wild geese in formation follow 

signs of cooler times when 

nature knows the way to 

warmer climes... 

As snowflakes stay awhile 

my pixie friend and I will run 

until the Aurora Australis appear 

in the southern hemisphere...

dear Emmajoy, It is joyful to wake up very early and read your review of "It's only make believe". My gout in my foot appeared yesterday evening and has been very painful. It has been dormant for months... I needed your unexpected visit with the sweetest words. I will have an emergency doctor's visit today. Yes, even children today are not having as much magic as there should be. It is lovely to bring "Cheer" through poetry. You have a gentle way of touching other people with blessings. truly, Pat
