Butterfly eyesA Poem by Patricia WedelShades of azure and green... a reflection from the sea... gaze across the billowing waves to glorious days of pleasure-filled moments wild and carefree...
The wind swept me into your arms where the sea
and land met in a cove of mystery and love... as the scent of roses filled the air with an aphrodisiac of apricot liquor pouring from a fountain borne of ancient stolen moments... The sunset in golden and burgundy shades of passionate delight filled the night with notions of Arabian nights and fruit of forbidden appetite became the dreams of lovers as angels played music from a far off galaxy... Peace was as lovely as a thunder cloud filled with beauty and celebration of ancient lore... as the tide went out to explore the unknown mysteries of the sea bringing treasure fit for a King and Queen who once ruled the Sea... © 2016 Patricia WedelFeatured Review
