Wanting you wanting me

A lady lives within the music of her heart

When bluebells cover the forest glade  

and sunlight permeates my thoughts of love 

I pause to say a prayer of mystery and light 

when nature knows that time is eternal... 

When raindrops fall against my window pane 

and dreams invade my moonlight night 

I long for your touch of tender sweet refrain 

when the veil is lifted and love remains...

Your poem reminds me of how I feel when my best friend (RIP 4 years) visits me during a quiet moment of observing nature. To me, "the veil" is the thing that separates the living from the dead, which is what sent me down this path as I read your bright words of affection.
