This was a very poetic piece. Lines like "Romance and love petals, dance in preludes of birdsong" really highlighted the vibe of the poem. Personally, I think it'd have more of an impact if the statement wasn't so general and was tightened up a bit. But if you just wanted to write and paint a picture, you accomplished that. Thank you for sharing.

Such delightful imagery in this one, Pat. I could almost smell the flowers, taste the herbs, feel the romance blossoming. We can handle the rain because we know the sunshine will follow. Mother Nature gives us such beauty every day. A beautifully written poem. Lydi**

There are so many facets of nature that
can soothe our feelings if only we enjoy the sunsets
and birdsong, as well as herbs and flowers.

And thank you ... I often times find myself doing just that.
I love bird watching and smelling the new bloomed flowers
And yes I'm trying I have even began making my own soil out of compost with a mixture of things added into it for extra fertilization I've just yet to begin a garden this year trying to get my house in order it's been quite chaotic lately due to conflicts and disruptiveness
Once I get that accomplished
I can move forward with the rest of things
Thank you pat .
I enjoyed reading your poems.

I lived in Washington Grove, Maryland where there were
so many Oak trees. Residents would fence off a small
plot of land and throw their veggie and fruit peelings
on the compost of fallen leaves that matured through
the seasons. It helped to enrich the garden soil and flower beds.
Of course, composted cow manure always enriches the
garden soil. The nurseries sell the manure in bags that
have been matured properly. Now that I am seventy-six,
I like to use garden planters. The birds carry seeds and
plant them in our yard, so after 25 years, we have lots of
trees that have grown up and provide a lot of shade to
help with shade in the summer. I wish we had Solar heating.
One could save a lot of money. truly, Pat
Mine is rabbit fertilizer

I meant large containers to hold rich soil where you can plant
tomato's or flowers. They could be called Pots. Perhaps I am having a
"senior moment". Yes, egg shells are great for compost. truly, Pat

We're getting into essential oils and natural remedies lately, but I don't know near enough about them.
A lovely poem with easy movement and it flows beautifully.
