Amethyst brings peace to lovers 

heart and soul...

Romance and love petals 

dance in preludes of birdsong... 

Perfume is gathered from 

essential oils of magnolia, 

rosemary, lavender, 

jasmine, rose and spice... 

A wealth of intimacy and romance 

may grow in your very own garden ... 

Seasons of beauty and eternal blessings 

with the pardon of sunshine and rain...

This was a very poetic piece. Lines like "Romance and love petals, dance in preludes of birdsong" really highlighted the vibe of the poem. Personally, I think it'd have more of an impact if the statement wasn't so general and was tightened up a bit. But if you just wanted to write and paint a picture, you accomplished that. Thank you for sharing.

dearest Margie... thanks for reading “A Wilder Life”. It is amazing how our earth has essential oils to soothe our wounds... both mental and physical. I also love Acorns with their Caps as though Autumn
is adorned in fine array. I once lived in Washington Grive, Maryland where Oak Trees grew in abundance. My first borne child, a son gathered Acorns as treasures...

Washington Grove, Maryland was organized by Methodists over a hundred years ago with tents in a Circle ... there were horse and buggies, so the front of the homes faced a walking path... Eventually Hines were built to replace the tents in circles within circles... full of Oak Trees by a Meadow sweet. In the very middle is McCathran Hall and my son’s last name is McCathran. My sons Grandmother Eleanor McCathran had a large home with the side entrance facing the Meadow... God rest her soul. Amen

As a horticulturist that was (is still, i spose) I so agree with you. Our earth offers magic we Humankind just don't accept.. even the scents of plants, the feel of bark, the chew of.. whatever's taken fresh and damp with dew. You feel so strongly, have sensed it in your words before, the hidden words that whisper between the lines..
