This was a very poetic piece. Lines like "Romance and love petals, dance in preludes of birdsong" really highlighted the vibe of the poem. Personally, I think it'd have more of an impact if the statement wasn't so general and was tightened up a bit. But if you just wanted to write and paint a picture, you accomplished that. Thank you for sharing.

I love how you share this information in such a flowing & glowing way, your choice of language is alluring. The way your words sing with persuasion is a demonstration of how the natural elements can also beckon to us. Not only do I like to use natural elements, but also I feel the essence of my special place here, when I ingest something that has grown wild here (like acorns) *smile* Great poem! Hey Patricia Wedel, you gone and nailed it with this one my fine literary friend. Everything comes together seamlessly, the title and each verse work splendidly and I absolutely wish I had penned the last verse...N

I love the forest and the lakes too.

The above lines were my favorite. Your amazing description took reader to beautiful places and thoughts. Thank you Patricia for sharing the excellent poetry.

Tisn't just the contents that heal but the words themselves. You've written with a gentle and soothing pen, Patricia.. it's beautiful from start to finish. As a horticulturist, etc.. i love to see and feel how people turn to the natural world and discover then kindly use its wonders.. They give so willingly, , as you have, thank you..
