Quiet moments

Quiet moments

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

Wrapped in surrender

"
The tease of an ocean breeze
bringing a soft memory
dancing with the moon...
across the milky way
humming your favorite tune
of true love in early June...

The scent of lavender as
sandpipers find sweet reprieve
among dunes of yesteryear...
seashells wash upon the shore
holding specks of gold and
mysterious tales of love untold...

Shades of repose in tears of
sweet kisses of surrender...
lavender and rose line the
horizon of dreams where
hearts entwine on waves of
adventure and destiny...

The ailments put here, especially the lavender and rose line add more charm into your poem. I almost forgot to get the story behind it as I was lost in your choice of words... Its really great to hear the rhymes, although the last stanza doesn't rhyme, still it creates a concluding sense itself. Different ideas are gathered to get a finished and beautiful work which absolutely is a difficult task. I appreciate the way you started and concluded, all the words felt most amazing to me. Where in you could have added some more lines in order to describe something more of it....
Good job!!!

So many of the things you have mentioned are controlled by God and natural things He created seem to be the most awesome to me. Valentine

An imagery filled poem this one....

Soft and sensual on the mind, this poem certainly gives off a very strong sense of calm and serenity. Your poems are always descriptive towards nature and floral scents and visions. When combined with the slow trickle of your words on the page, they create a piece filled with wonder and harmony.

Delicately written poetic work.

This dances on your page like 'the moon across the milky way', imagery is superbly intriguing, arousing the senses to new heights.
