Landing in a pile of feathers...

Being a Bunting by nature, 

you woo me with your songs 

Chasing me through the meadow 

we land in a pile of feathers... 

My Tanager heart wings toward you 

in colors of rhapsody in blue 

Turquoise tweets gather your 

heart's desire in serenades...

Lovingly described and worded, you can feel the writers emotions towards the birds in this poem, the beauty of their colours, the symphony of their songs......

A lovely allusion.....a pile of feathers......the pillow on which our head rests as we sleep and dream....

can fly and sip nectar and devour seeds, as well as,
build a nest and create heirs to carry on... survive all
