Embraceable ViewA Poem by Patricia WedelAt dusk, pods of dolphins come into the harbor to feed...
Hypnotized by a scalloped coastline
stretching toward the horizon... our garden includes grapes, kumquats, avocados, lemons, limes, apples, tomatoes, and a melange of herbs... baby tears, oregano, and thyme. On the northern coast of Laguna Beach... the Artemisia wreathes the cedar doors opening into the garden. On the home's sea side iceberg roses lace the steps. A curtain of poet's jasmine, fragrant white flowers tumble from an iron awning outside the front door. Olive trees lend an aire of old old Europe. We embrace the view with passion giving a gentle persuasion of lustful evenings and cool breezes. © 2014 Patricia WedelFeatured Review
