Thunder Snow

Thunder Snow

A Poem by Patricia Wedel
"

To experience thunder snow for the first time is a revelation of nature enveloping me in passionate wisps of excitement...leaving me entangled in droplets of ice and frosty brass horn kisses.

"
I love lemon meringue sunshine mornings...
and I love you with your tender sky blue eyes
where a world of delicious secrets lie
on feathered pillows destiny...

You heal my wounded heart
with songs of love and laughter...
where rivers run to oceans deep
and angels in willows weep
in tangled honeysuckle vines...

Wild geese dance the minuet
against silver skies of memories...
where passions dwell and
Lovers forever sail on
clouds of dreams come true...

Whitewater waves roam about
looking for the perfect storm of
Thunder Snow sounds of beauty...
as the heavens sing Hallelujah
to winds of love's desire...
Amen...

'Thunder Snow'
Patricia Wedel,
How darling this is! Symphonies of creation's lilting
heart songs give meaning to these, your words.
Ah love, how can we find the ways to be thankful.
Your poem sings of thankfulness!
'Wild geese dance the minuet
against silver skies of memories..
where passions dwell and
Lovers forever sail on
clouds of dreams come true..'
Bless you!
Kathy

This was a lovely read all the way from its introduction to its last verb. It reads like the kind of love letter that a swashbuckling fictional man-of-letters such as Cyrano De Bergerac would have written for his friend. You have the gift. “lemon meringue sunshine” burns through the morning’s mist.

Never apologize for looking for your feelings. You are welcome. It was a pleasure to read.
There are phrases and thoughts in your poem that rich men would pay millions for, if only to have the magic of your sweet gifts: the flow of true human senses and the ability to dance mere letters into memorable literature. I feel a smile growing inside me.. today's wondrous first read. Thank you!

The probable inspiration for your poem is lovely: ' To experience thunder snow for the first time is a revelation of nature enveloping me in passionate wisps of excitement...leaving me entangled in droplets of ice and frosty brass horn kisses..' That is awareness of the nth degree!
