Weird LadyA Poem by Patricia HernandezA poem about the weird lady that I am insideOnce I met a girl, So strange was she, She was a complete weirdo, She was so free, I saw her, soaked to the bone, Wrapped in the rain’s embrace, She was not mine, she was her own, I saw her once again, Crying over her appearance, Her emotions she said she drained, Her weirdness was perseverant, She stumbled when she walked, What a clumsy little lady, With food she was always stocked, She was so openly lazy, She always wore a smile, I wondered how she was so happy, She told me it was fake, That she always felt crappy, She would just lay in her bed, Listen to sad music for hours, From her eyes she slowly bled, With these tears her cheeks showered, That weird young lady, The faces she would make, She would make me laugh daily, With her you couldn’t take a break, And finally because of her weirdness, We have some strong connection, Because of all of her unusualness, She is my definition of perfection. © 2014 Patricia HernandezReviews
