Ambrosia

Ambrosia

A Poem by Pathtaken

Ambrosia

Fear the past made present
And dream on what might be
But the here and now's more pleasant
Than all the places in between
With heart in hand I hobble
To the altar of the sun
To hand to God my troubles
      Because, with them, I'm done
I surrender to His will
      I need never know
To seek ambrosia's fill
    And let my problems go
My soul lives on forever
And this body leaves too fast
So seek God as your endeavor
      So that your choices last.
