The WheelA Poem by Sophie B.
Pink cotton candy skies on the horizon at sunset
Their eyes glisten in the light, happy as two people can get Rising above the city From up high everything looks pretty Higher and higher they fly The force of their love stops time from going by When they reach the summit, their lips meet Like a movie, like a dream, oh so sweet Round and round the Ferris wheel goes In the back of lovers’ minds, they know their ride will eventually come to a close But they are too focused on one another At that moment, the sweethearts know that they are destined to spend eternity with each other Forever and always their love will amaze Those who have never gone on the wheel of love © 2023 Sophie B. |
