Monsters in a cage
Slowly breaking out
Thirsting for flesh and screams
They set their sights on their prey
Once their former home
She goes on unknowingly
Waiting for the right moment
They pounce
Taking in her screams like a breath of fresh air
Ripping and ripping
Limb by limb
Savoring their first meal
She suffers alone
Meeting her end
She welcomes death
As it was so much better
Than fighting the monsters inside her head
