Sirens

Sirens

A Poem by Pathetically Beautiful
"

I was talking with my friend as he was trying to comfort me. I said this to him in warning.

"

Be careful dear one, with what your getting mixed into. As it appears I may seem alluring like Sirens on a bay, but remember there's sharp rocks ready to devour. On a ship that is your heart, in a current too strong. Watch out for the trap that is the song of love, it may lead you places to where you can never get back. You say you'd rather be on that rock, stranded but what if I decide to disappear. Turn your ship away I say and never look back. For the Siren's call is a curse upon deaf ears.
