Two Beings

Two Beings

A Poem by Pathetically Beautiful
"

When the love between another just cannot last.

"

So close yet so distant.

A never ending hold to nothing.

A low tolerance dashed away,

replaced with little room for the blundering absence of meaning.

The longing allurement of a touch,

of a smell,

of the sound that is presented to the heart, body and soul;

of two beings.

Simple nights stolen by-

With a plenary time of waiting.

No sleep for the remiss sensation of prolonged hopes.

No peace to those who cannot waive the separation.

It is not for the weak but for the enforced tenebrous fate

of two beings.

A punishment earned for only one.

Yet to suffer for two.

Forced to be apart in a never ending battle to be together.

An attachment more inordinate to the unseen eyes of two.

Only to be felt with the unearthed closeness.

Intertwined in one life.

Unsure of two present days becoming one.

A false sense to the truth that lies ahead.

An unclear future just waiting to destroy all that is good.

Rush in need to find that stability in the curfew of life.

The entity of all that is perfect.

The "Heaven Factor" we so long to seek.

To grasp,

to understand,

shape,

and mold.

But all that is life,

we find is like trying to constitute our own selfish feelings

to a world of pain and suffering.

Impossible to the "Heaven Factor."

As it is unlikely for two beings to know their desired path.

For just in the small separation of two,

causes a massive wave in the contrast that is love and destiny.
