Artemis' Veil

Artemis' Veil

A Poem by Patches I'm not so new anymore.
"

two Lovers and a cup of coffee

"

Artemis’ Veil

Verses and a vase of flowers between

I could speak with thee for hours

As we sip coffee from Arabi---

thine is the first sip then mine

And my lips doth touch where thine

didst touch.

Then will Artemis let drop her hem of night. Brushing

star dust from her gown

and thousand, thousand twilit crannies

Her silver softness finds

Come, Love I will show thee a world

a world shared only by lovers as we watch

arrowlike moonbeams fly from Her Crescent bow .

What need we of a necromancer?

I need only look upon thee

or glimpse our shadows

amidst threads of moon spun lace

and the song begins.

Come je’t amie take my hand, we will dance together,

our bodies moving to the music of the spheres.

Answering with ancient undulations to the beat of

arcane rhythms till the child of dawn lifts Artemis’ Veil .
