MASK

MASK

A Poem by Patches I'm not so new anymore.

He wears a mask

so that none may see

the bitter hurt

 caused by she

His heart she broke

with spite and hate declaring

she would no longer be his mate.

He drinks too much, laughs

too loud. He's the life of the party

the clown of the crowd.

It it too late to begin anew?

If he had the chance, what would he do?

To my new found loveWhat I would do

given the chance I'd run to you!

His addiction.
He'd do it all again
Just for another chance
So would I
Just for the
wild ride.
