We Will Always Have Paris*A Poem by Patches I'm not so new anymore.Said in a conversation between the poet and his lady written as a sonnet. I leave the reader to decide who said it.Do not mourn when I am gone I would not mourn for you I would remember how we loved while the roses bloomed.
I will remember how we laughed and like a sonnet rhymed and together lived and loved in our own springtime.
I will not in winter weep for those days of yore. No! I shall not wish again for what has gone before.
But will remember our spring until I breathe no more.
