CaughtA Poem by Patches I'm not so new anymore.A whimsey of a poem that fortuneately turned out to be true but not at the age mentionedTwenty-six--- in the prime of me life. A carefree lad without any strife. Thought something amiss, but knew not what dang me though I was about to find out!
She sports dark hair, the eyes of a tiger lordy, oh lordy how she kindled my fire. Her lips red, red as Bing cherries and moist, so moist like dew laden strawberries.
Statuesque she is not stands only 5' 2" with the face of an angel, body beautiful too. Like a fey she is, a sprite wild and free her come hither look hypnotized me.
A kiss she teased with, then danced away--- I stood there dumbfounded, nothing could I say. She danced to me again, coming quite close. I reached to grab her and had her---- almost.
Her laughter rang like a crystal bell. With a grin mischievous, and eyes alight She knew she had me--- wasn't much of a fight.
The old addage has once again proved to be true--- A man will chase a girl until she catches you!
