To my Lady, My Donna*

To my Lady, My Donna*

A Poem by Patches I'm not so new anymore.
"

dedicated to the lady I would die for

"

Thy beauty outshines one hundred suns,

'tis blinding to mine eyes.

O that I couldst die happy

one night in thy arms!

Many fain to love thee

and I be one amongst,

Thou art friend, and I love thee

Mine quest for love is done.

Thy comeliness is only challanged

by the beauty that is thy soul,

'tis not thy pulchritude  that thrills me

'tis thy heart's purity make me bold.

Thy features haunt me night and day

I pine for thee j'et amie

I wouldst be more than a lover

dearest I wouldst be thy friend.

Thy beauty is beyond compare

Even Artemis be not so fair

For no goddess canst stand in rivaly

 to my donna's beauty.

So much raw emotion for a love that is not attainable...I have walked this road for years..I was forced to let go anf move on..Kathie
