Who are my Verses for?A Poem by Patches I'm not so new anymore.A poem for my Lady and best friend.( who are one in the same)Journey with me into the shadow of dreams. Come, watch the white day dying. Let me crown thee with a wreath of bluebell, and daffodils.
Who are mine verses for if not for thee? Why art mine rhymes if not for thine eyes, thine ears?
In the deeps of our hearts we are together, in our dreams we are together.
Dost thou see the moon shining down through the trees? It is the same moon I am gazing at acrost the stream.
Canst thee feel the breeze carress thee as the breeze here carresses me?
Dost thee breath the scent of evening, as I breath the parfume of night? Dost thou hear the soft rain falling gently onto the meadow?
Making whispers on the surface of the stream? Is this a dream? Will we awake each in the arms of the other?
