AssignationA Poem by Patches I'm not so new anymore.A poem in the Troubadour styleAssignation
Oh woe is me, thou hast woke Before me this day, left mine fantasy to stray In addition, hastened thee upon thy way.
Oh that shame, shouldst follow me Throughout this day that God Hast granted mee and thee
That I thy poet and yeoman sworn Shouldst be lost in slumber warm Whilst thee mine laidee
Dost go upon thy merrie way. And departing Didst so gaily buss thy yeoman yea, on this very morn. Ere thy left mee here alone.
