Special Side Chapter- This Looks Like A Page Out Of Resident Evil

A teenager who looks to be no older than twenty is seen walking around a laboratory. His hair is medium length and is silver. He has an athletic build to him and is around 5’8. He has on casual clothing but carries a katana in one hand. At the end of the katana is blood dripping from the end of it and behind the teenager is a body. The body looks humanoid but seems grotesque

 

Teenager: “What the hell is going on? What is with these alien looking creatures?”

 

After he says that he feels drool dripping onto his shoulder. He looks over at his shoulder, and then slowly looks up at the ceiling. He sees another creature crawling right above his head. The figure then spins his head 180 degrees and screams. It then lunges off the ceiling onto the teenager

 

Teenager: “Son of a b***h!”

 

In a split second the teenager cuts the thing in half. Even though it’s bifurcated it is still scrambling about he sticks his katana in one side of it and it stops moving.

 

Teenager: “Let me check and see if Isabella and Rocky are okay.”

 

He then reaches into his pocket and pulls out a walkie talkie. He turns the dial a few knobs and speaks into it.

 

Teenager: “HEY ISABEL! HOW IS EVERYTHING LOOKING ON YOUR END?”

 

Isabella (with a country accent): “Korbel sweeeeetie. It took ya long enough to contact me boo. Don’t ya miss me?

 

Korbel lets out a huge sigh

 

Korbel: “Sure I do Bel. And sorry, I had to take care of some things over here first. But are you okay? Do I need to come over there?”

 

Isabella: “No sugar. Have you checked on Rocky?”

 

Korbel: “Doing that now”

 

Korbel then turns the dial on his walkie and speaks into it

 

Korbel: “ROCKY! HOW ARE YOU HOLDING UP?”

 

Rocky: “AHHHH! SO MANY OF EM!! BELLLL!! GIVE ME A HAND!! HEL--”

 

Korbel (shaking his head): “On the way”

 

He then switches his walkie back to Isabella’s number and tells her to go to where Rocky is at. She complies and he starts running to where Rocky is.

 

            Five minutes later Korbel kicks down a door and can see Rocky surrounded by several creatures with around a dozen on the ground.

 

Korbel then starts to head over to him. He sees two creatures lunging toward Rocky and he throws his katana as if it’s a football. It flies perfectly straight and sticks both creatures in the stomach and they get impaled into a wall. They let out a scream and Korbel goes over to grab his sword. Before he can get to his sword a creature comes from nowhere and grabs his hands. Without hesitating he kicks the thing in the stomach, causing it to let go. Soon after he takes the creature by the head and slams its face down to his knee, dropping it on its back. Korbel takes his sword that was impaling the two creatures and then stabs the creature he just beat up in the neck. He takes a look over at Rocky. Rocky seems to be holding his own. Korbel looks and notices something about Rocky and calls him out on it.

 

Korbel: “Rocky, is there any reason your not using your ability?”

 

Rocky: “Well, I didn’t know what these things were! I wasn’t sure if they would drain my power or turn it against me”

 

Korbel: “Quit being so damn paranoid! This would be a lot easier if you just used that”

 

Rocky: “Whatever you say chief”

 

Rocky ‘s hand then starts to turn rock-like and he punches one creature into another and the two go flying.

 

Korbel: “Now was that so hard? Now do your smash attack so I can take out these things”

 

Rocky: “I prefer the term ground pound”

 

Rocky then turns both his arms into rock-like substances and slams real hard into the ground. This causes the creatures to fly and Korbel flies in the air too, but he was prepared for it and he takes his katana and then cuts around six creatures while he is in the air and has a creature’s head stuck in-between his legs. He then twist and causes it’s neck to break. Korbel then comes down and right after a whole bunch of blood and split bodies fall on the floor. Rocky just looks in amazement

 

Rocky: “No matter how many times I see it, it still is so cool!”

 

Rocky notices two more creatures in the air that seemed to be untouched.

 

Rocky: “Korbel, you seemed to miss a couple”

 

Korbel: “I was saving those for her”

 

Right after he says this, two vines come through the air and wrap each creature by the neck. Then the vines snap back down and slam both creatures into the ground. At the end of each vine there seems to be a petal that grows into a small Venus flytrap and bites the head off both creatures. The Flytraps then turn back into petals and the vines then shrink and return to their owner, who is Isabella. Rocky just looks disgusted

 

Rocky: “And no matter how many times I see that, it is so damn disgusting”

 

Isabella: “Don’t get mad sugar, cause you can’t seem to get rock hard in the one place it matters most”

 

Rocky: “You viny b***h”

 

Korbel: “Now now you two”

 

Now that we have a good look at the other two people, Rocky appears to be a little overweight guy who is around six feet. His hair is black and was wearing a black t-shirt but the sleeves seemed to have ripped off when he turned his arms into rocks. Isabella on the other hand is a beautiful, voluptuous woman who sparks a resemblance to Jessica Rabbit.

 

Korbel: “So did we have any luck of who ran this place? All I managed to run into were these things”

 

Rocky: “Same here”

 

Isabella: “Ditto. Although I did manage to find this purty little notebook with a whole lot of writing in it”

 

She shows the other two the notebook

 

Korbel: “Did you look at what was written inside?”

 

Isabella (shrugs her shoulders): “I did but I couldn’t understand it sug. You can take a look at it if you want”

 

She hands Korbel the notebook. He opens it and Rocky is standing right behind him.

 

Rocky: “Geez I can’t understand this either. And I thought Bella was just too dumb to rea--”

 

Before Rocky can finish, Isabella smacks him and he flies into a wall. He starts to mutter something but no one is paying attention

 

Korbel: “S**t I can’t understand this either. What the hell kind of code were they using to make this?”

 

Isabella: “Use your watch sweetie pie”

 

Korbel: “You’re right”

 

He then uses his watch on his hand and presses a few buttons while he holds the watch directly over the notebook. It appears to scan over the notebook.

 

Watch: whjjh48thd X Attack;.h;,vl Experiments sjkjdwdh

 

Korbel: “It looks like it still can’t decipher what it says. I did see something about the X Attack and some experiments though. Are that what these things are?”

 

Korbel looks as if he stressing out and Isabella tries to calm him down

 

Isabella: “Don’t worry about it so much sugar bear. You’ve never let us down before. Me and Rocky got faith in you. We’ve always have.”

 

Korbel: “I just really want to get to the bottom of this. But rest assured I will find out about that man. And remember, don’t tell anybody about this. This will be between the three of us”

 

Isabella nods her head and says okay and Rocky, still lying against the wall puts his thumbs up and says ok.

Alright Just To Let You Know This Is Part Of "So Called Heroes", Just Taking Place In A Different Area Outside Of Where The Main Gang Is. Any Special Chapter Is Going To Focus On Secondary Characters

I liked it. I loved the fighting scenes. They are cool characters. Isabella kinda reminds me of me. I would have slapped Rocky as well. Lol I loved Rocky's part when he saw what Isabella was doing was disgusting. Awesome chapters. Thanks for sharing. :3

Dont' really have much to SAY about it, but I enjoyed it, and it would definitely be something I would carry on reading and enjoying. Thanks very much! Sometimes secondary characters are more important than the primary ones to keep the readers interest going! It's like spicing it up! :)

It think as you are describing him you should have him doing something.
Example: instead of, "A teenager who looks to be no older than twenty is seen walking around a laboratory. His hair is medium length and is silver." you could say, "The teenager, who looked no more than twenty,flipped his medium length, silver hair out of his face as he walked through the laboratory." or something like that. It gives it a better flow for the reader. Do not feel bad. I do it a lot, too.

You could also work on combining your sentences. Too many periods can stop the flow of your words. You could also be more descriptive. I know I have told you this before, and you really have improved on it, but what I am talking about is appealing to the senses. Like Korbel's heart beat fast as he ran to find Isabel and Rocky. Or describe the monster's scent. You know, that sort of thing.

This was pretty good over all. Thumbs up!

Rocky's pretty funny, and I like how you made Isabella have a Southern accent, it's different and I like it. Korbel seems very intense, but I like him, he seems very cool! I think it's fun to read a different part of the story than Soren and the gang's, it's like adding icing on a really delicious, weapon wielding cake! It'd be cool if everyone from the Special Chapters would meet with Soren and Jax and everyone else, but it'd be hard at the same time, so it's just an idea.

Rocky's ground thing reminded me of Hulk with his "Hulk smash!" thing, and it made me laugh! I loved this! it's so different from everything else since it's not the same people.. I'm excited for more to go off of this!

YES! You're right! I can for sure see the Resident Evil similarities. T-Virus, zombies, the Birkins, Leon, Claire... *starry gazed* Ahh the good ol days.

Anyways, Im excited to see that there are more than just Jax and friends. Now we have something else to look forward too!
