Ive needed to say this

I used to sit,
drown my thoughts out
Whether it be with music blaring in my ears
Or multitasking to where i forget
Then you came along.
You were in my head always helping
Then my thoughts weren't as bad
Youve taught me many things
But i think the most important is
How to think my thoughts
My head is mine once again
I am in control
I dare let it get the best of me again
Because when it tries ill be ready
Because no matter what goes on externally ill have you
Ill have myself
Ill have all that youve shown me
All that youve taught me
For this, i thank you from the bottom of my heart and the deepest of my mind
