In The Palm Of Your Hand

In The Palm Of Your Hand

A Poem by That one kid

Youve got my core in the palm of your hands
Do not squeeze to harshly for it may break but hold it tightly
Do not let it get cold for it may freeze but let it feel the cool breeze
Do not boil it for it may burst but keep it warm with your emotion
Do not drop it for it may shatter but hold it low and dear
Keep it next to yours and let them become one, beating together
For i will do the same
This is my utmost precious item that has been broken, beat, stabbed, and tossed away before
Treat it with care as you somehow manage to put the pieces back making it whole again
With all the shards and tiny dust particles it may be in it loves you as a whole
In the palm of your hand you hold something fragile
In the palm of your hand you hold what is now yours to keep
