Why

Why

A Poem by That one kid
"

Theres a world full of emotions under the surface.

"
Why does the world spin the way it does and how come?
Why do we act the way we do?
Why are we like this?
Why am i like this?
Why did the world happen to be in the Goldilocks zone?
Why are people the way they are?
Why do we hear voices?
Why do we question so much when there is an answer?
Why do you love me?
Why do you care?
Why do i question these things?
Why havent you gone when the chance arrived?
Why did you break your promise?
Why did you fake the smile?
Why do you continue to make yourself bleed?
Why did you stab me not in my back but in my heart?
Why did you leave?
Why did you hurt me?
Why did you try to come back?
Why do i question things i could find an answer for?
My mind constantly racing with all questions as they come with a valuable answer. At night when im alone in the dark is when they come to play. They swing, they jump, they spin on my strings. Why must they? One of the many questions ive not found an answer for yet. These questions i ponder every night. Every night i await my knight whose name is sleep because maybe then ill find peace.
