dr. sunshine

dr. sunshine

A Poem by Richard
"

this is no way means anything but being this and being that way

"

forgive yourself, better yet, let in Dr. Sunshine

that bright light puts life in your hair

i've seen it it's hopeful you shield

puts a smile in that puddle

changes your heart

I've been there

when you had no place else to go and contemplated life

in no uncertain terms (you screamed)

you wrote it down and ripped your jeans

your soft hands beamed

and when you breathed outside i called a name

hoped it would reach you

since my arms have failed and died

a cloud, chosen the chosen one, wimp, it chose against us, hung above us

isolated, it found you, undulate it thought

it took me to you by way of my tear

dropped me at your bed and graciously

you licked at the spot on my mouth

and never returned

just like Dr. Sunshine over that mountain that leaned

through the fields of clover

I bruised

you learned

and could literally feel the rays and watch them disintegrate

tepid, so what

you did great

Dr. Sunshine

ok, then wait

liar
