why the hell the road begins and then ends i'm sorry for closing the door on my dreams

why the hell the road begins and then ends i'm sorry for closing the door on my dreams

A Poem by Richard

with moments like these ones

we won't be needing friends

they'll add nothing

we can't always behave

we could be

trying on the clothes

trying out personalities

you prefer me and I'll become you

trying new positions at half the speed

trying our best to not let the other people know

we're not really at our best sometimes

not at the store on the way to the park

not on the date on the way to park

half hour later we can never be late!

faster than a shooting star

we're gonna be more positive tomorrow right?

like a voice or a shadow

could answer

it goes a long way to remember moments like these

the bride in the dress shop

changing her mind

a crest of honor, boy, and don't you deserve it, or i'm not your father

home away from home away from home

the crawlspace

all our space suddenly invaded

by uninvited guilt

the great street performer in his life stand still tunnel

he was right i think so

it won't be too easy

so let's get naked right down to the truth

and go back a few steps

we can do it

because you leave me choosing never leave

"just like the turtles"
