Jack Frightened of the East

Jack Frightened of the East

A Poem by Richard

look love wait promise

i'm feeling possession

you've been sex just twirling you were

devouring art your

finding new ways to do things for nothing to eat

well, you know, you've been here some time

too want to grow old and dance with the teacher

no, that's true it's over

1993; train by train follower

rope by rope tightener

was lying you lent your shape to the sculptor's hands

you bent over and exposed your soul

all the dancing off the edge of your cliff to your hips

just confused well rings and listens won't call you

by your new names

all this and the future heaven knows

you've been there separation and divorce bedside and roadside

undisclosed, where are your manners

if blue my sky come sail my heart songs

any indication

the way way out, way way way way out

tomorrow, I predict missing

i'm not even here see

no longer hair

through I could see

if true, can't with the holding

saying who could love who could be bitter

faster and better

than hush river crying

sink with this letter

anchors ago

you can't reach God?

be it cliffside or hillside?

you're sensational …

oh

sleep?

combat

come back

come back

why?
