dad, yuo always looked both ways when i crossed the road

dad, yuo always looked both ways when i crossed the road

A Poem by Richard

years went by

and the flower bloomed

the tables turned

and the machine kept working

hard as it could

nobody knew what happened

not nobody cared

just nobody looked away

or smiled the same remember

and when the thing that made them go gave up a long time ago

there were no walls put up

and here a note there a note everywhere and

it got very dark when the years said bye

it got very sad when the music died

it got very empty when everybody left

it got very tiresome, and so I too left

the stonewall

to stonewall

to stonewall

to stone
