I am a plane

I am a plane

A Poem by Richard

yes, yes I move

no no not with gusto

the wind reflected on my wings are just feelings of angst

trying to make music of this crazy sky

I am a plane

looking for a runway

for your waving happy arms

but I don't think I can stop yet

and take with me your long lost luggage

I've got red ones, some with zippers that seem inundated now, gold trimmings

parallel to my engine

is my heart

but it's not very intelligent

so doesn't always know when to start

no no I'm still quivering over the ocean

with arrows flying over my head

I can pick you up soon if you don't mind these heights

earthquakes

you ARE precious cargo so don't let them say

you'll never make it in this world

you're sooner to crash

but nobody knows better than you

how high you can be

how low you can drop

when to release your propellor

and float back to earth

Very nicely done. This is a really wonderful poem. These words of inspiration describe life and the challenges we all face. Yes, we will fall but must get back up and try again.
