empathy fools the musician

empathy fools the musician

A Poem by Richard

Empathy Fools The Musician..

and fortitude shadows the heart

sunlight inspires judgment

and also feels good

over the valley of the crippling lamp

on a rocket toward moon stone

with signs pointing up

a girl named Oom

Oom Thermos and Rosario Gun

that is all

oh, and a pillow in case of rough sex

the tremors of the wind pulsate as the wind grabs the craftguard

shaking it heavily, but why?

there's no music anymore

this is the point of no return

and everything went quiet

for a century or two

another dusty book to read on the long long journey

Ray Bradbury's 58 horrifyingly honest stories about aliens (or real people)

and a smoked salmon sandwich

there's a teacher on board without language

but no place to work without octopus ink

as the world inside gains friction

and melts the craftguard

outside, so cold

where the shame can feel offensive

and still

a thousand lights pointing home

can't be wrong
