Alarm Clock MittensA Poem by RichardI
just shuck my head like
a cake where the flour went wild a
little girl whose rosy cheeks are pressed against the glass who believes in the frumpish and has no time for rubbish some mailboxes just don’t accept more mail ours does it’s food of choice: long letters from old friends on hot beaches we just sip hot cocoa on cold benches and find our grooves in the couch and we kiss for a few hours then, because it makes us happy we do it some more now it’s christmas eve and we have no presents but we sure gave out a lot we really put out on christmas " with gifts from our heart for your feet and the one thing I’m most excited about this year is my almost brand new alarm clock mittens. © 2013 Richard |
