Yeti and his Boy

Yeti and his Boy

A Poem by Richard

on cappuccino mountain
with the snow-capped snow cap
and a cuppa java
yeti and his boy scream savagely all through the night
among their oeuvre - a blanket harmony, a pizzicato tonsil vibrato, and a faint falsetto rhapsody

this came with great anguish

to the one’s who knew language
to be sure, villagers covered in winter’s dust, from far and wide, angered - by sleeplessness, soused and sussed

come one come all, come some come tall

for the great demise
and that’s not all!
if it weren’t enough being serenaded by a hilltop monster and his pet boy
now, against all bows and boughs
a Lycanthrope (a misanthrope) treks up from his den
and by most accounts, made it up there by ten

even some of the young villagers
began belting out songs
from “I wanna be your caveman” to “come on baby (light a fire)”
the marvelous mountainous mayhem
broke out
again
and again
…and again.
