Are you sure they’re horses
and have you seen them run?
Because they’re really supersonic, maybe permanent, toward the sun
Never quite descending
is the mountain faucet spring
pounding on and on

taking breath away
and making various wind gods sing
Back on the shore of violent whispers
Or light
The shore of unsureness,
they call it
47% beachland
26% abused
A can of lime Tab stuffed in a flower bed
Timelessnessless..somehow
just like some horses
trotting cautiously across the glebe
listen, watch, believe; never stroke
