Inside our love

Inside our love

A Poem by Richard

I took a peek inside our love
past the ex-boyfriend cobwebs and into the desperate mainframe..
I was reminded that music speaks louder than words
and words are just threads of truth hanging from the in-between clothes-line
Getting a jolt from the molasses thick pillow around my heart, a rock with a note breaking into our window, delivering secret messages, because we asked. It’s ok, we can protect each other from whatever pain this world can throw at us..
The interventrical wiring inside our love flows through the fear engine and replaces the battery, redirects the subconscious, then ignites in passion. Remember when we played with fire and got so wet we had to take off all our clothes and explain why we were so shy?
There’s no more real place than inside our love
You can sleep on that thought, but if you don’t wake up, I’ll fall asleep forever too, and that’s not to say sleep is dependent on love, or vice versa, but making love underwater reminds me of the beach, and that reminds me of the time I spent inside our love.. You were there too..I wish, now, that we did more than smile with our eyes

This was a great pouring of emotion... There were a lot of images in this that I liked, and it did evoke a lot of emotion. It was more "prose-y" than "poem-y", but that does not mean that I didn't like it. You dug deeply in the emotional well, which I completley enjoyed.
