Before; The Lesser Version Of Now

I've become a bit obsessed about the crusades lately..

Long long before the first crusades of love were repairing the talisman of time, restoring the peace, and recollecting the missing heart fragments, a lesser known Sept had been carrying out their Quest. It was the Quest to prove the existence of before. Not unlike modern school history text which tries to recreate, not duplicate this ideology. The quest was carried out by the sisterhood of the unlikely burning paradox. At the time, this seemed like a very avant-garde title. Not so much to the poor shepherd husbands. After years of searching, and plague spread from bugs from a rare contemporaneous occurrence of razor-backed dinosaurs and King-Squid, the Quest was abandoned due to the deteriorating health of the eldest sister. Her last words were uttered in horrendous agony as she lay on the cold stone ground. “Before…… before..”.
“Before what?” pleaded the youngest sister only recently sworn in. “We must know!” cried the others praying over her. “Before is the lesser version of now”.
