Walking BaileyA Poem by DaraI am reposting this in memory of my Bailey who passed away this month.A sunny day, a gentle breeze as we pass by the giant oak trees my lab and I stroll side by side no need to hurry we take our time. She sniffs the grass and rolls around I glance her way then up she bounds. The silence is golden we hear not a word and I hum to myself to a chorus of birds. These moments with Bailey I’ll remember forever. She’s my constant companion, a friendship to treasure. © 2020 DaraReviews
