“Oh the wonderful knowledge to be found in the stars. Even the smallest things are written there ... if you had but skill to read.”
— Benjamin Franklin
Sometimes the answer is as simple as “ Do onto others as you would have them do unto you.” I decided on a different title because my first one may sound polarizing and there is already enough of that going around.

There is so much negativity in the world and unfortunately out of our immediate control. This is a good place to start sending messages of hope. Your words are much appreciated, thank you!
We need love in the world today. This world needs God. Lovely work.

' Love divine, all love excelling, Dara.' Your poem is so finely put, refuting what's going on in our beautiful world. If this is civilisation and so-called inspired modernity.. maybe we should remember what love really means.. as said elsewhere today: that O is endless as is Hope.. the two together would be beautiful. Your words are oh so welcome, reminders and remedy at the same time. Thank you. x
Keep smiling and safe, dear friend.

Let us hope that in our own small way the poetry we all share will bring about that which the world seems to be in short supply lately.... “Three things will last forever: faith, hope, and love - and the greatest of these is love.”
1 Corinthians 13:13.,
Take care and stay healthy and safe!
Unconditional love and respect prevail over what you've described in your poem, Dara. It's pretty simple but not easy (as evident in social media and cable news). Treat others as you want to be treated. The problem today, unlike earlier decades, is the 24-hour new cycle (empowered by social media), and the financial gains of the media giants in perpetuating the turmoil.
Thank you for writing and sharing this one. I hope millions read it.

You are spot on and mirror my own thoughts on the news and social media. The world has always been in turmoil but it seems to have tripled since those two things have become rampant. So good to see you and giving me and everyone who reads this poem something to think about!
I agree with you if the world could change and there was a few golden rules like you mentioned ie do unto others and love the world would be so in harmony if only eh .... loved your poem
